Services Request Form

**VERY IMPORTANT!! Please review the University's new Event Security Policy.

MUPD personnel may be requested for security at events on the MU campus. MUPD will make the final determination if officers are required for security at an event.

How to make a request
Complete the Services Request Form. You may also contact Major Doug Schwandt by phone at 882-6757 for services. Prior to calling or submitting a request please review the University of Missouri's Event Security Policy.

Costs
Officer and supplementary personnel services:  $35/hour
Security Officer services: $25.00/hour
Campus Safety Officer services: $15.00/hour
Barricades (if needed): $50 per day per event
Dances and related events cancelled after cancellation deadline: $50 cancellation fee plus costs incurred. (see Indoor Social Events Policy)
All other events cancelled after deadline: any and all costs incurred by MUPD

NOTE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009 RATES WILL CHANGE TO THE FOLLOWING:

Campus Safety Officers $20.00 per hour

Security Guards, Communication Operators, & Office Staff $35.00 per hour

Sworn Officers $45.00 per hour

Cancellations
Dances and related events must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance to avoid charges. (see Indoor Social Events Policy)
All other events must be cancelled at least two business days before the event to avoid charges.

Payment
MU Departments: Charges will be processed by electronic Journal Entry, and notification of the entry will be sent by e-mail.
Organizations outside the university: A statement will be sent to the organization for payment by check.
