COLUMBIA, Mo. – Around 11:45
a.m., Monday, Jan. 31, the University of Missouri Police Department
received a report of a Sex Offense/Sexual Misconduct that happened
near the Francis Quadrangle on the MU campus. The victim reported
that at approximately 11 a.m. a male subject followed her to the
quadrangle, from the north side of Brady Commons, where he made a
sexual comment and began touching himself inappropriately. The male
then grabbed the victim by the arm and tried to put his arms around
her as if to hug her. The victim stated that she left the subject and
went to an office in the area where she reported the incident. The
male subject is described as:
White Male
Around 5’7”
30 – 35 Years
of Age
Mustache and Beard
Dirty Blonde Hair
that was shoulder length
Red Knitted hat
similar to a stocking cap or beanie
Wearing a gray and
blue checkered flannel shirt with gray pants
Carrying a backpack
type bag with black on it
The subject told the
victim that his name was David and that he was homeless. If anyone
has seen this individual, please contact the University Police
Department at 882-7201.
