Statement on reported robbery to the MU Police Department.

On Sunday at approximately 3am April 20, 2008, the University Police Department received a report of a robbery that happened on Stankowski recreation complex running track. 

The male victim stated he was running on the track when three males assaulted him from behind and hit him on the right side of the face. The victim then fell to the ground. The victim also stated the suspects then took his I-Pod, cell phone, cash from his wallet, and a pocket knife.

The victim described the suspects as three black males. One black male was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Another was described as wearing a white sweatshirt. One of the suspects had a hairstyle of cornrows.  No further description of the suspects was given by the victim.

There were no weapons displayed or threats made to the victim. The victim did not receive any medical attention.
