HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION (Update 3):

Additional information on the person of interest.  The person is believed to have been carrying some type of gas can. The person of interest is a male, between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches in height, possibly wearing some type of painter's or drywall mask in the area of Maryland Avenue garage on Jan. 7.

The University of Missouri Police Department and the Mid-Missouri Major Case Squad continue to seek the public’s assistance with the following:

  1. Identifying a time when the victim's car was parked in the driving lane on the northwest corner of Maryland Avenue Garage. The victim's car is a white Honda Accord with a Missouri License Plate No. — 608-HYK.
  2. Identifying a time when the victim, Jeong Im, may have been seen in the Maryland Avenue garage or the University Hospital on Jan. 7.
  3. Information on any odd or suspicious circumstances within or around Maryland Avenue Garage from the morning to late afternoon of Jan. 7.

"The Mid-Missouri Major Case squad would like to thank the public for its assistance in identifying two sports utility vehicles located in the garage," MUPD Captain Brian Weimer said. "The squad continues to follow up on leads provided and we are still asking for the public’s assistance in solving this case. Even the smallest detail may be a crucial piece of evidence."
