On Jan. 31, the University of Missouri-Columbia Police Department arrested Andrew D. Myers on suspicion of one count of felony class C stealing and four counts of misdemeanor class A stealing. Myers was transported to Boone County Jail where he was released to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department in lieu of $7,000 bond. Myers is a student at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Detectives investigating thefts of various computer items from campus identified Myers as a suspect. Detectives contacted Myers at his residence where they recovered computer equipment that was stolen from the University. Detectives have now located more than $9,000 worth of stolen equipment.
