The University of Missouri-Columbia Police Department has
arrested Rosemary C. Ihetu on suspicion of First
Degree Assault, which is a class B Felony. Ihetu was
transported to Boone County Jail where she was released to the Boone County
Sheriff’s Department in lieu of bond.
On March 30, at approximately 4
p.m., the MUPD received a report
of an assault in progress in the area of Dean Drive
and Maryland Avenue Garage. Officers responded to the area and located Ihetu near the entrance of the MU School
of Medicine. Following a
preliminary investigation, Ihetu was arrested on
suspicion of First Degree Assault and transported to the MUPD
for processing.
The victim was treated for injuries to her arm and the back
of her head. She was released from the University
Health Science Center.
