From 10:30 p.m., April 23 to 3:30 a.m., April 24, the
University of Missouri-Columbia Police Department (MUPD) conducted a saturation
patrol with an emphasis on alcohol violations. MUPD worked in conjunction with
the City of Columbia Police Department (CPD) and the Division of Liquor Control
on this saturation effort.
The Wellness Resource Center provided funding, from a grant
they received from the Missouri Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse, for this
saturation patrol and collaborative effort between the departments.
The following arrests were made as a result of the
saturation patrol:
10 Open Container
1 Diving While Intoxicated
1 Zero Tolerance Violation
1 Urinating in Public
6 Minor in Possession of Alcohol
9 Fake Id
