Statement on
Residence Hall Burglaries:
The University of
Missouri Police Department is currently investigating multiple
burglaries from the Schurz and Hatch group of Residence Halls. The
burglaries are believed to have happened between March 18th
and March 24th. Rooms that were burglarized are located
on the ground floor of the residence halls with the suspect or
suspects primarily gaining access by entering unsecured windows. The
suspect or suspects took electronic equipment and items associated
with the equipment (i.e. stereos, DVD players, DVD’s, and Music
CD’s). Total value of items taken is in excess of $10,000.
