MU POLICE ENCOURAGE RESPONSIBLE GRADUATION CELEBRATIONS

From 10 p.m., May 13 through 2 a.m., May 14, the University of Missouri Police Department will have additional officers on patrol looking for intoxicated drivers. MUPD, along with other campus groups, promotes responsible drinking throughout the school year with a variety of activities. MUPD hopes this enforcement activity helps keep students and community members safe through this graduation period.

This saturation patrol was made possible by funds provided by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission’s Blueprint for Safer Roadways Program. This program is designed to reduce the number of fatalities and injuries occurring on Missouri roadways through increased enforcement and education.
