COLUMBIA, Mo. – At 9:53 p.m.,
Tue., Sept. 20, the University of Missouri-Columbia Police Department
received a report of a robbery that happened on the sidewalk between
Dumas Apartment Complex and Hitt Street.
A female student had
her purse pulled from her hand by a male subject who then got into
the passenger side of a white vehicle, possibly a 90’s model
Oldsmobile, and left the area southbound on Hitt Street turning right
onto University Avenue towards Domino’s Pizza on 9th
street. No weapon was displayed or inferred during the incident.
The suspect is
described as a black male wearing a white t-shirt, long red athletic
shorts, and white tennis shoes. The male’s hair was described
as medium length, dark in color and messy.
The driver of the
vehicle, that left the area with the suspect, was described as a
black male wearing a white shirt.
