At 8:54 p.m., Friday, Oct. 20, the University of Missouri-Columbia Police Department arrested the following individuals for: Stealing (c) Felony 570.030, 3 counts, Fraudulent Use of a Credit Device 570.130, (a) Misdemeanor 11 counts, Forgery (c) Felony 570.090, 8 counts, Second Degree Assault (c) Felony 565.060, and Second Degree Property Damage (b) Misdemeanor.

An officer stopped Laura and Daniel Rullo near Rollins Avenue and Hitt Street after the officer observed Laura Rullo make multiple traffic violations.  While the officer had the vehicle stopped, a witness reported the pair had been observed breaking into a car in the Turner Avenue Garage.  At that point the Rullos were taken into custody.

Upon further investigation the Rullos are suspects in approximately 37 vehicle break-ins on the campus from Sept. 1, 2006 through Oct. 20, 2006.  More information will be available after Oct. 24 as investigators have time to review cases and process evidence.
