The University of Missouri Police Department (MUPD) is seeking community assistance in identifying the individual(s) responsible for cutting down six trees on the University campus. Officials estimate the cost to replace the trees will be about $4,500. The type of trees and their locations are listed in the following table:

It appears that these trees were cut down with some type of ax between 5 p.m., Oct. 20, and 7:30 a.m., Oct. 21. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Sergeant Shawn Spalding at (573) 882-5928.
