With the upcoming 2006 football season,
the University of Missouri-Columbia Police Department offers the
following tips to make the game day experience safe and enjoyable:
Arrive early to Memorial Stadium
to allow yourself plenty of time to park and get to the game.
Remember there are many fans at the games and it may take an hour or
longer to leave the game. Your patience and understanding is greatly
appreciated and assists with traffic flow.
No parking will be strictly
enforced on both sides of Providence Road (MO163) from Research Park
Drive (the new light across from the reactor) to Stadium
Boulevard (MO740).
In addition, no parking will be
strictly enforced on both sides of Stadium Boulevard (MO740) between
Providence Road (MO163) and Monk Drive.
No kegs and/or bulk quantities of
alcohol will be allowed in the parking lots.
There is no parking in grass areas
around the campus to include the corners of Champions and Providence
roads (MO163). Parking in grass areas may result in ticketing and
towing at the owners expense.
Lots in the immediate area of
Memorial Stadium and the Hearnes Center are reserved for Tiger
Scholarship Fund donors.
Public Parking is available for
$10 a car at the Reactor Field parking lot and in the Maryland
Avenue Parking Garage (third level and above). Parking is
free on game days in the Conley Avenue Parking Garage, University
Avenue Parking Garage, Turner Avenue Parking Garage, Hitt Street
Parking Garage and the Virginia Avenue Parking Garage.
Bus & RV Parking is available
for $50 just southeast of the Hearnes Center.

the exception of medical purposes), Alcoholic Beverages,
Cans/Glass Bottles, Umbrellas, Strollers/Backpacks,
