UPDATE REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE 10/13/2009
The University of Missouri Police Department has taken four male juveniles into custody for a burglary that occurred at the Hearnes Center on Sept. 27, 2009. The two females that were in the released video cooperated with the investigation and are no longer considered suspects. Names of those arrested cannot be released due to their juvenile status and additional details of the case cannot be released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
“We’d like to thank the public for the quick response and assistance in identifying the four individuals in the video,” said Captain Brian Weimer. “Through this partnership with the public, we were able to identify these individuals and bring a successful conclusion to this case.”
The University of Missouri Police Department is still seeking assistance in identifying the three males and one female in photos available on the department’s web site at: http://www.mupolice.com/Assistance/October2009/oct09request.php in reference to an assault that occurred outside of the Maryland Avenue Garage on Sept. 19th, 2009. The department is looking to identify any or all the individuals in the photos.
