Statement on Reported Robbery:

At approximately 10 p.m., June 13th, a University of Missouri police officer was dispatched to a reported robbery that occurred on the southwest corner of the Hitt Street parking garage.  The female victim, who is a University of Missouri student, informed the officer that she had been robbed around 9:45 p.m. by two black males.

The victim reported as she walked down a path located around the southwest corner of the Hitt Street parking garage she heard a male voice yell something at her from behind.  As she turned toward the direction of the voice, she noticed a black male running toward her.  The male punched her in the right side of her face and she fell to the ground.  At this time she noticed a second black male running up and he began punching her in the back of her head.  One of the males pulled her purse off her shoulder and the male subjects ran southeast toward the Professional Building located on the University of Missouri campus.

The victim described the suspects as follows:

The victim received minor injuries; however, refused medical treatment.  Additional details cannot be released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
