Information on Assault Reported to the University Police Department:

On Feb. 18 shortly after 9:00 p.m. officers from the University Police Department responded to an assault report at the southwest corner of Pickard Hall.  The assault is believed to have occurred around 9:00 p.m.

According to the victim, he was walking west on the sidewalk toward the Quadrangle.
The victim stated the assault occurred near the southwest corner of Pickard Hall. The victim stated someone pushed him from behind, and as he attempted to turn around, he fell to the ground. The victim reported that when he fell to the ground his attacker or attackers proceeded to kick him. The suspect(s) then fled the area.

The victim believes the suspect(s) ran toward Domino's Pizza on Ninth Street (to the east).  The victim believes there could have been two suspects.  No additional suspect details are available at this time.

None of the victim’s personal property appeared to have been taken during the assault.

The victim was transported to University Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.  No further details are available at this time; injuries did not appear to be severe.
