REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE IN ROBBERY THAT OCCURRED ON MARCH 7TH:

The University of Missouri Police Department needs the assistance of the community in identifying two individuals and two vehicles from a robbery that occurred near the Conley Avenue Garage on March 7, 2010. 

The victim’s credit card was used on March 7th at approximately 2:49 a.m. at the Petro-Mart convenience store, located at 1004 North Stadium Blvd (corner of Bernadette and Stadium).  There are two individuals and two vehicles the department would like to identify from surveillance video at this location:

Vehicle 1 is a silver or white 4 door passenger car, possibly Pontiac Grand Prix, with a spoiler.

 

Vehicle 2 is a dark gray or tan 4 door passenger car, possibly a Nissan Sentra.

Male 1 is a black male with short/cropped hair wearing a black hoody sweatshirt with a red and silver/white design on the front of the sweatshirt, and blue jeans.

Male 2 is a black male with longer braided hair wearing a black hoody covered with a jean jacket, dark pants, and mostly white shoes.

ORIGINAL RELEASE:

At approximately 2:44 a.m., Sunday, March 7, officers from the University of Missouri Police Department responded to a report of a robbery that occurred near the northeast corner of Conley Avenue Garage. The male victim reported that between 2:30 a.m. and 2:40 a.m. two individuals robbed him at gun point, taking his wallet and cellular phone.

The suspects were described as two black males, 5’10” to 6’ tall, weighing 140 to 150 pounds, and wearing black masks covering the bottom half of their faces.  One of the males was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt. The other male was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. 

After the males took the victim’s wallet and cellular phone, they ran north on Sixth Street toward Stewart Road, eventually turning west on Stewart Road.  During this time a white sedan was observed driving at a high rate of speed south on Sixth Street turning onto Stewart Road.  The victim did not observe the suspects get into the vehicle; however, he believed the individual(s) in the sedan may have been involved.

The weapon was described as a small silver semi-automatic hand gun.
