MU POLICE TO CONDUCT YOUTH ALCOHOL SATURATION:

From 9 p.m., May, 7th through 3 a.m., May 8th, the University of Missouri Police Department will have additional officers on foot, bike, and vehicle patrol focusing on open container, minor in possession, and other related alcohol violations.  Primary areas of focus will be high pedestrian areas, Francis Quadrangle, Greektown, and areas bordering downtown.  MUPD, along with other campus groups, promotes responsible drinking through a variety of activities and programs throughout the year. MUPD hopes this enforcement activity helps keep students and community members safe. 

This saturation patrol was made possible by funds provided by the Missouri Department of Transportation Highway Safety Division.
